For those involved with GDM 2009 has been yet again a year full of miracles. A year where we took on challenges we thought were impossible to overcome and where we set objectives that stretched us beyond previous milestones, so at the end of it all, we go into the festive season feeling proud and also slightly fatigued!

The year ended formally with our Annual General Assembly that was held on 12 December 2009 from 08:00 to 12:00. The Chair of the Assembly, Mr. Americo Lino presided over the activity and ensured a balance between Director's feedback and community contribution. "Since GDM belongs to the community of Manica, this Assembly is the most important day of the year." said Mr. Lino.

A week after the General Assembly GDM also received its formal Auditors Report that affirmed the legality and integrity of all financial record keeping and management.
