Child Protection

Attached to this page is a Child Protection Policy. We note that a piece of paper does not keep children safe, but the character and values of the GDM leaders and the internal culture will keep children safe. The key is transparency, open relationships, trusting friendships and attentiveness by all members to pick up and act on potential dangers.

Additionally, children will be safe when they are loved and respected. Valuing young people is about more than protecting them, it includes giving them voice and choice, giving them real opportunities to learn, grow and play in healthy, safe and empowering environments.
